About Us

The Layoff Podcast is a platform dedicated to providing jobseekers with a place to share how a layoff impacted them, what their goals are going forward, and provide them with helpful tools, resources, and support to be able to better succeed and eventually bridge the gap between jobseekers, recruiters, and companies.

Our platform was created by a jobseeker to support other jobseekers and is supported by two amazing volunteers that saw how powerful the mission and vision is— to create a world that acknowledges the hard work and accomplishments made by workers.

We hope to continue our work as we learn more about the job market and space we are witnessing and building the partnerships we have in store. To further support our work, please consider donating to our platform. Our funds will go straight into the production of our podcast as we grow our audiences and to ensure each jobseeker guest always has a free space to share.
